ABOUT KATH
After retirement from Barclays Bank, Kath began painting in 2005, something that she never had the time for before due to work and children. She discovered Mike Emeney’s art group in Puerto de la Duquesa on the Costa del Sol, where she and her husband owned a holiday home. She attended her first session very nervously but soon realised that Mike would coach individually without influencing each person’s own style.

WHERE TO VIEW KATH'S PAINTINGS
Kath is a member of NADFAS, the Decorative and Fine Arts Association. The local branch, which is based at the San Roque Golf Club in Sotogrande, puts on a superb art exhibition ‘Feasting on Art’, in June every year in which local artists have the opportunity of displaying their work and is a fabulous platform for artists like Kath. For the last few years the venue for this exhibition has been La Cabana Restaurant, Sotogrande.
Kath is also a member of The Flyer Art Group, which is based in Rome, and now has members worldwide.
When she is at home in Cheshire, she attends Goostrey and Holmes Chapel Art Group.

Fino’s is on the hill away from the busy port and is an ideal place to meet with friends. Will, the owner loves art and is happy to display paintings, drawings and photographs, covering the walls in his bar.
